ELECO Steel Plant -Suez – EGYPT
Project Data & EL-Mahd Responsibility
The ELECO project is Rolling Mill and reheating furnace units, one of the technologies engineered by DANIELI S.P.A, allocated on Suez – Egypt.
EL-Mahd awarded two types of contracts at this project, the 1st contract was supplying a direct/indirect manpower. El-Mahd Company provided the required job qualifications according to the requirements of the client who individually tested all the qualifications of the supplied manpower such as (engineers, technicians, diggers, scaffolding technicians, supervisors. etc.) while providing all the personal protective equipment, tools, hand tools or mechanical tools and equipment as per the work requirements.
The second contract included contracts for periodic maintenance and renewal of paint works for the overhead cranes in all project hangers, as well as the supply of all the raw materials required for the project from mechanical materials and electrical materials, as well as the supply of engineering offices required for the client (caravans).
The Scope Of Work
El-Mahd start employing the qualified direct/indirect manpower, planned and put in action all the related activities for the piping execution starting by mobilizing site offices, the preparation of the project start-up technical document such (work method statements, QA-QC plan, WPS/PQR’s, ITP, risk assessments, …. ETC), the material unloading, sandblasting and painting with the maximum level of safety and quality using the provided resources such as the lifting tools, PPE, generators, airless, air compressors, sandblaster … ETC.
El-Mahd Company has achieved the desired target of completing the project, supported by professional records and conformity reports, in accordance with the professionally planned project schedule that matches the client’s conditions.
